    Today I am celebrating the day my sister, Irene, was born. It was some of her wonderful qualities that made her such an amazing person. I will focus on all those good things about her, our love for one another, and the good times that we shared. I will be forever thankful that she was and still is a part of my life. What better way to show that I am so glad she was born than to remember and honor her on this day. We always ended our conversation or text with the words, "I love you" to one another and those are the last words she said to me. That is absolutely wonderful ! Thank you for that Irene and I love you still...always have-always will.

Aunt Dee Dee,

Happy Birthday. Your special day will always be celebrated. You were such a wonderful and amazing person. You would do anything for anyone. I will never forget how you could light up a room with your laugh and humor. You always had a positive look to life, even in difficult situations.

The last time I seen you, we were all in Massachusetts for Jess and Ethan's wedding. We had a great time. Dancing, celebrating and the most important thing, just hanging out with each other. That trip was the first time I swam in the ocean, even though Jamie was too afraid to get in out of fear of being attacked by a shark haha. I am glad you were there for my first experience with the ocean. 

I will always remember your smile and encouragement when times were tough for me, especially when I talked to you about being burnt out from school. You always encouraged me to do my best and I thank you for that. You will always have that special place in my heart. I love you, Cyle

"Angels"

For my entire life my big Sister has always been there to watch over me. Irene would take care of me, guide me, and help me through life. For every single event along the way-good or bad- she has been a part of it. Whether to pick me up and wipe away a tear when I fell off of my bicycle or to happily be my maid of honor and celebrate along with me- Irene and I have always been together. Being we're only 13 months apart, we could  really relate to one another as we grew up. When we were young girls still excited about Santa's visit, to grade school bullys, puberty and boyfriends; we were together. When we reached adult hood, we shared each others joy of marriage and of our children being born, as well as everything in between. When people we loved died we comforted one another. Even when we were 100's of miles apart and had hectic lives, we always stayed in touch- still sharing in each other's life. We just wouldn't/couldn't lose touch. I do believe the older we became, the more we appreciated having each other. We weren't only sisters, we were best of friends and confidants.She was a part of my whole being and without her a piece of my heart will be forever missing. She helped me be me and without her- life will never be the same.
