So sorry to hear the sad news of Irene.We met this fall at the Hope Lodge.Unfortunately didn't get to know Irene very well as she left not long after we arrived.From the day we met i knew she was a speciial person.Sending all our love to her family & friends. Don & Lorraine

We were so saddened (& Shocked!) to hear about Irene's passing! We met this fall @ Hope Lodge when we BOTH needed a Friend!...& became instant friends almost immediately! I'll particularly remember all the meals Irene made for her fellow survivors...especially for the "weekenders", even when she went home on the weekends like most of us! I'd drive her to the grocery store to pick up supplies for whatever fabulous goodie she was going to make next...but she would NEVER let me help pay! What an amazing heart & spirit & what a FIGHTER! I'm truly saddened as I'll miss her sincerely! (Actually was hoping to call her right after the holidays to "catch up"!) Let that be a lesson to us all!...DO NOT WAIT to contact those we care about & let them know! (Maybe I"ll call that MY "Irene Lesson"!) Rest In Peace my Dear Hope Friend...You've earned it! Until we meet again in Heaven someday, I hope & Pray! Sincere Sympathies to all of Irene's Family & Friends! P.S. I'll cherish the special Angel Stone she gave me along w/a beautiful heartful card!God Bless Us ALL & Let's all keep up the Fight Against Cancer until WE WIN!

We were all so sad to hear this news. Irene was a beautiful person - inside and out. We will miss her and send love to all of her family and friends. Angela & the Hope Lodge family

I am truly saddened by Irene's death. Irene was more than just a friend; she was an amazing, strong person, and always ready for the next adventure with a twinke in her eyes. As I sit here remembering all the good times we had, and all of the crazy things we did together, brings tears to my eyes. Irene will never be forgotton as she has touched many lives. I am so sorry and I know this must be very difficult for you, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
